Droopy Nose Tip Issue

แก้จมูก

A droopy nose tip is often associated with a high nasal bridge. Correction of this condition can be effectively achieved through the clinic’s specialized silicone augmentation technique.

Causes of a Droopy Nose Tip

A droopy nose tip can generally be classified into two main types:

1. Naturally Droopy Nose Tip

This occurs when the nasal cartilage and surrounding soft tissues are naturally angled downward, causing the nasal tip to point or droop downward. It is commonly found in individuals with minimal nasal tissue, a short nasal tip, or a deep philtrum (groove beneath the nose).

2. Droopy Nose Tip After Augmentation

This condition may result from several factors, including:

  • Oversized Silicone Implant: A large implant can place excessive pressure on the nasal tip, causing it to droop downward.
  • Thin or Weak Nasal Tip Tissue: This may result from multiple previous rhinoplasty procedures, the use of overly thin implants, or naturally weak nasal tissue.
  • Surgical Technique Issues: Improper suturing or excessive trimming of nasal tip tissue during surgery can lead to a droopy appearance.
  • Postoperative Complications: Conditions such as infection, inflammation, or swelling after surgery can also contribute to a drooping nasal tip.
